Store has been cutting labour recently... sad... no income for me next week... but the crowd seems to be coming back... tired out lately... went home with adilah, imran, taufik and nizam today... I'm guessing they might need me during the Deepavali/Hari Raya period so i could take this chance to rest... but that's just something that happens pretty regularly...

anyway... i've been watching this idol drama called KO One recently... it's pretty good, not so much on romance though... Fahrenheit stars in it and Arron is like *ohmygodicouldjustmelt* cute even with the funny hair... if you want romance, go watch Tokyo Juliet... it's so sweet... I just finished watching it...

Oh, uncle newton, auntie elena, lola and auntie roxanne visited us recently... uncle newton bought me a camera, so expect more pictures up soon! I was thinking a camera was more practical than a bag from ck tang, those branded stuff cost as much as a camera, goodness! Alright, this might be a little biased but personally i dig Wu Zun. Next comes Arron. The members all agreed that Wu Zun is the most good-looking in the band in a recent episode of YuLeBaiFenBai. In terms of expression in their music videos, Jiro and Arron seem the most comfortable and appear more relaxed. Wu Zun has a tendency to come up with fist gestures. Calvin is a little stiff but he has a sweet smile. Dance steps are simple and go with the songs, but they don't impress. The band is named such cuz the members represent different temperatures. Jiro, Calvin and Arron starred in the idol drama KO One and Wu Zun has a cameo. Wu Zun, a Bruneian, takes on the leading role in Tokyo Juliet with Ariel Lin and Simon Yam. Impressive!

The album:
3 stars One word: Safe
The songs mostly sound alike across the board. The one that stands out is ZhiDuiNiYouGanJue, a duet with their senior Hebe from S.H.E.. Lyrics are a piece of work. They sound like a taiwanese Westlife, with less impressive vocals. WoYouWoDeYoung is a great uplifting song. They should explore other genres, songs with more groove and dance or those that can allow them to utilise their vocal range.

So i took a week off work to look after my mother's stationery shop while she goes to bohol for a wedding... i was bored to death with nothing to do... except when this weirdo came in all of a sudden and acted funny... he giggled at the back of the shop when he saw me looking at him... like i was playing hide and seek or something... siao lang... his hair was all crazy... then he just went out... Gosh, i don't know what to say... i don't have the mood to entertain such people...

Slept in this morning till like 12 plus... still feeling tired but today is my off day... feeling shagged cuz i've been running all over the store during work...not to mention not having enough sleep in between and eight hour shifts... damn those irritating people on the bus that have those annoying habits that i just can't nap on the bus... even azman and nizam thought i looked sick... oh, which reminds me of something weird that happened to me on friday...
I suddenly felt moody after coming back from my break and it sort of lasted till saturday morning... I'm usually the one all crazy and not making sense but i just suddenly didn't feel like talking and all... I did pre-close and even washed the stuff i don't usually wash and changed the water in the dishwasher... it's so strange... usually i can put up with eng hong's stupidity but i actually felt a burst of anger when he pulled out my earphones when i didn't hear him call me... i almost cursed aloud... but i'm alright now i guess...

So the IMF people are coming... Service standards should be up... hmmm... I realised just how fake i could be when i served some irritating customers the other day... thank goodness the managers have been letting me run kitchen these past few days... I don't understand the huge deal people are making about making a good impression on the IMF delegates... don't they come at other times for holidays and see Singapore as it is? So why are we going to such lengths to impress? Yes, while we should work to improve service standards but i don't see a need to push it so hard... oh well... SMILE PEOPLE! 4 million eh?

Finally made it to church today... homily was sleep inducing (i was already sleepy)... was about not discriminating people because of their status and stuff... but watched the infant baptisms which was cute...

I am a workaholic... I love my job... except COUNTER!!! I am sick and tired of seeing the customers' faces and smiling at their lame jokes that they chortle at at my expense... Of course there are the nice ones (mostly ang mohs), but the ones that i can't stand are those that expect you to know what they want (like you can read their minds), those that are on the phone and jab at the menu at the stuff they want, those that don't know how to queue up (can't you read COUNTER CLOSED?)... And one quirky thing is that some people request for sauces that amounts to more that what they ordered in quantity! I mean if you kept some i understand, but some people use up all the sauce!
Today i did counter-cafe-kitchen-cafe-kitchen... i like it this way... i can't stand staying at counter...cafe tomorrow... Practised my latte today and will continue the endeavour tomorrow.. must say that it's looking better... oh and i bought a new mp3 player *teehee*

Anyway... was tired out working today... Customers kept coming... got told off by an airport staff in a bad mood... (who caused me to get told off) but i honestly think that she needs to work on her communication skills and learn to 'bian tong', like, work around the set procedures, which is something really important when you work at counter... so much for the GEMS thingy...

He can relate to us, the 'younger' generation (forever 18 uncle zainal!!) which is hard for most managers that have left school for so long... *teehee*

I worked split shifts yesterday... 7 till 2.30 then 6 till 8... Heard the mystery shopper was going to appear... He/she never fails to instill 'kan cheongness' in the managers...
Had gelato with winston at venizia downstairs in between shifts... had durian and chocolate wafer... Yummilicious... He slipped on the stairs on the way down and was so funny cuz his first reaction was to turn and check if adilah saw him fall... i was laughing my head off and so did adilah when i told her later... saw kamalia too... *SIGH* We used to hang out together all the time before the start of poly/ITE... Me, kamalia, jiemin, winston and... I really miss all that... Those were really happy times...
Anyway, i was amused/pissed in the kitchen cuz irfan and kharthik kept teasing me and i couldn't help but wish that i could just go home and sleep... I was so tired already... and they still kept teasing me...

Woke up this morning and went to thomson with the family for roti prata... the fish curry was so yummy! Daddy dropped us at far east... Helped a little to move the stock for the shop... the trolley was off balance and kept going right... then made my way home from orchard and got a prank call from kharthik and chandran... jokers... oh well, better than being treated the way jeffrey was/is... it's the attitude i guess... well, off i am to work... cafe today... *whoops*

I think Yushan was high on endorphins from running from both cafe to main store and back...I was seriously not thinking straight when serving the customers although nothing major happened...Thank goodness I had KFC before going to work... Or my stomach would have been singing to high heaven... So sleepy... got work at 12 later... which is like eight hours from now... so see you later...
