Most of the past week has been pretty good for me. I did a second round of spring cleaning in my room, got to do abit of shopping, reading and got a temp job (which will hopefully turn into something more after). Downside is that 2 members of my household have turned into whiny walking bags of germs, resulting in me having to bear the brunt of the consequences that arise from this.

It would be alright if i didn't already have 2 jobs and money would just drop from the sky for me to spend and maintain my expenses. I just hope that they are not contagious. But even if i do get sick, I recover fast too.

For one, I don't bother people with stuff that i have to do, i still go to work/school, do my chores. I don't cry and whine just because i feel pain, cuz it's a waste of energy you could use to get well. I keep myself happy, eating ice cream even though i have a cold, watching comedies (after all laughter is the best medicine). I don't lie around moping and make people feel stressed. Mental and emotional strength is key to getting well besides the medication. I hate it when i have to go take a queue number and register at the clinic for someone, cuz no one ever does that for me whan i get sick, i go and register and even pay out of my own pocket (although its ok to pay for myself now that i have some income). Waiting at the clinic is such a waste of time, especially when i could be doing something else, like sleeping.

Well, this sick thing should blow over soon and is just a minor irritation. On the bright side, i bought quite a few things when i went out with tiffany on wednesday! I bought a pair of tights that look like jeans, a pair of ballet flats (think that's what they are called), SNSD's Gee mini album and New Moon. And Jolin's Butterfly album on Friday. So now i can cancel a few things off my wishlist!

The sky was all red that evening and there was a rainbow out... I wish I stayed on a higher floor for a better view... cool right?

Sort of got a job doing translations and stuff, along with my tutoring... so that should be able to support me a little...

however, i want to say that those sales people (particularly those selling insurance) are super annoying... if i do not stop to entertain you means i'm NOT INTERESTED!

I wasted 5 precious minutes with this skinny guy blabbering about nothing... and thank goodness i'm a pretty good liar when i want to be... pretending that i have to go to work (when it is 4+PM on a friday... how dumb is that?) and that i knew that bank interest rates are going down (quote the news, duh...). even if i was actually going to work or knew about interest rates, i wouldn't be interested in a savings plan UNLESS the interest i earn is 100% or more...

Anyway, that said, i can't wait to get my hands on Super Junior's 3rd album and Jolin's Butterfly album!!!

Custom-designed real diamond-encrusted ballerina tutu... cool or what?

I am pretty happy today... mostly...

Aside from the news that i would be losing a little bit of income, everything else today was good news. I ACTUALLY PASSED MEDIA LAW!!!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG... I actually got a C... I was so prepared to take the supps... and hoping for the best (that i'd just pass with a D), but a C is way better...

besides that, i actually got 2 As. I've never gotten 2 As in a semester before, i hope this will help pull up my lousy CGPA... It's abit sad that i didn't get a pass with commendation for SIP though... i tried really hard...

And, at the mediabiz awards (which was pretty entertaining), we got an award for best magazine... i really thought that one of the fashion magazines would win... cuz their final product looked so good...

Oh well, seems like i'll be getting that graduation package in the mail after all... and if anyone has some freelance writing jobs, throw it my way, ya? thanks a bunch...

What kind of love life will you have?
(Did this quiz, and thought the results for this was one of the more accurate ones that i've done so in my recent boredom so far... just edited the lousy english... )

A person who is free minded will be attracted to you.

You are warm and always in love. This is the kind of relationship you want to maintain with your partner.

For you Love is commitment for both parties. (So true...)

Your impression of your lover is a stylish person. (Don't know what this means...)

You do not want ruthless, cold-blooded, and/or irony in your partner. (Who would actually want this?)

You are a caring person. You won't do any wrong things after marriage.

You love freedom. So you are afraid of marriage. (the freedom part is true... Don't know about the marriage part...)

Your nature is straight forward. You want just he/she loves you. (TRUE TRUE TRUE)

i've been watching variety shows, reality shows, drama and once in a while, the news. why is it that there is so much difference between a TV show and reality that comes from the same country. they walk the same streets, shop at the same shops, and hang out at the same spots but yet one world is so much preferable to the other? the two ideas are really hard to reconcile...

As usual, haven't been up to much except celebrating Ruobing's birthday in a way that i would never have done in any normal birthday circumstances.

I queued for 2 hours to get luo zhi xiang's album signed!

No matter how much i like a singer/celebrity/artiste, as much as i do want to meet them, my dislike for crowds precedes any consideration to even think of going. if not for the fact that ruobing is my really really close friend, having spent 4 years together in secondary school and that it was her birthday, AND the fact that the event was at eastpoint, I WOULDN'T HAVE GONE.

Not that i really minded, since my sister (show luo fan extraordinaire) said that he would finish signing all the albums, so we didn't have to queue from the morning to be in front to ensure that we got our albums signed. so we wandered around eastpoint, looking at books and stuff (she's one of the few people that would spend hours in a bookshop with me) till he came and went to queue after his performance.

oh and luckily i bought my album early, cuz those sold at the event cost an extra 5bucks at $30! i should have expected it. i had to buy 3 extra albums for ruobing, my sister and her friend and i only had $80 and had to run to the atm just to fish out the remaining $10 i needed. oh well, take it as money earned to cover the cost of the event.

xiaozhu's fans were mostly female, and i noticed that it is really useful to have a boyfriend during these times, cuz queueing in such a crowd is no joke. you need a boyfriend to buy you food, run your errands, and keep you entertained while you queue.

so that was that. oh, and i cried buckets watching marley and me with audrey and regina during the day. a rare sight, coming from me. i would think it is pretty hard to get an exaggerated reaction from me. nothing really shocks me, and i don't know why. anyone has any idea?
