New blogskin
Written @ 12:52 AM
I've been hit by lots of thoughts lately but am too lazy to write them yet. Some are on my cyworld if you can and are willing to read chinese.

Anyway, i got my blogskin problem sorted and the tagboard is back up. Just scroll to the bottom in the other space below.

School beat

Multicam officially needs ALOT of practice at pressing buttons... my first try was a horror but if is anything like pressing the POS at Mac counter... i think i'll be fine with more practice...

Anyway, as much as i like Super Junior, i think this following clip encompasses Cross Cultural Comm and Radio Studio production...

I think Eeteuk has a nice radio-friendly voice, don't you think?

I haven't been awake this early for more than a week.

Got Multicam make-up tutorial, it seems complicated. I'm going to make a fool out of myself. I can't help but feel irritated just looking at the subjects i'm taking.

Just shoot me.

Black hole ahead

I have just just glanced through the student guides for the subjects i'm taking this semester and concluded that i'm so dead.

pretty good progress in self-learning korean. can write my name in hangul already. what about lessons, tracy? haha...

I think it's funny

On a tube of facial wash i bought when i was in china:

"Particularly recommended for oily girls and boys."

...

On another note, i just realised that my 18th birthday is in about 1 month's time. But i've never felt 17, always strangely felt older. except stuff like buying liquor (locally, anyway... overseas i can buy whatever i want), watching/renting M18 shows etc... it's funny that i'm 18 only now. birthdays seem so insignificant now, and the irony is, it's not just any birthday that i feel this way, it's my 18th... what more for my 21st, i wonder?

Erm...

I have alot of thoughts that i want to express... but i never remember them in a coherent manner... which only means one thing...

my brain cells are dying.
in love with Super Junior. *花痴*

A few things today...
Written @ 9:09 PM
1. I still miss SJZ badly.
Mingkee and I don't chat on MSN anymore, we use QQ...

2. I got my school timetable - like finally...-
and got into Chinese Newswriting. (I hope it's good!)

3. Went for MFY training today...
and realised that i am fickle-minded.

4. Got my phone bill...
and realised that roaming calls to a SG number is more expensive than i expected! It's cheaper calling their local numbers... wth...

Tears
Written @ 11:17 PM
I was watching the last episode of Super Junior's Full House* when the tears started to fall. I know how it must have felt for Eva and Anya to leave SuJu (particularly when they are such CUTE guys...) cuz i felt that same way just 2 weeks ago. It made me think about the times we had in SJZ... Like Ming Kee says, we are a 6 hour flight+3plus hour car ride+ S$1000plus away from the people we left there...

you wouldn't understand...

you weren't there...

the un-cheenapoks...

*Super Junior Full House is a 13 episode 'reality' series starring half of SuJu and 2 Caucasian girls who visit for a homestay and try teach SuJu english. They are absolutely hilarious. So the last episode is when Eva and Anya had to go back to their countries at the end of the homestay.

Was it even a holiday?
Written @ 7:50 PM
It's the last week of the holidays... and there's still alot to get done...
I've got training for McD's mfy on 18th, 19th and 21st at White Sands (which i really don't want to go for...), the PiCC3 report by Monday, the RSI programme that i WILL finish 'post-production' tomorrow... and 2 presentations for PiCC (dates not confirmed... grrr...)
What's worse is that the timetable will only be available on thursday, which does not leave room for advance planning (especially part-time work) whatsoever...

Anyway, on a better note... I've been indulging in Super Junior's full house youtube videos... where they have two homestay guests and it is omg funny... i've been laughing my butt off... only that it is kind of hard to find videos with english or chinese subtitles since my korean is limited to annyeong haseyo and random vocabulary from somewhere... this is where you should step in, tracy... korean tuition! Haha... Oh and while i was in china, i managed to find time to recognise the Suju members and even DBSK! Here they are:

Super Junior
Han Kyung/Hee Chul/Lee Teuk/Ki Bum/Kang In/Kyu Hyun/Si Won/Sung Min/Eun Hyuk/Shin Dong/Dong Hae/Ryeo Wook/Ye Sung

Thinking about the fact that they are a 13-member group with individual working commitments, their company must have a huge headache when it comes to scheduling performances, what with Han Kyung's visa limits on performing, Ki Bum and Hee Chul's drama filming and the live radio show DJs in the group... It's sort of like school with students taking different subjects...

after a whole day of feeling floaty and disoriented yesterday, i finally feel grounded and back into the singapore swing. i've downloaded qq and accidentally made a new friend from shandong (apparently he's a primary school teacher in his late 20s, but who really knows for sure?) cuz i typed in the wrong number when adding people. need to do stuff for chinese stoPress and my report for PiCC... i NEED to get down to WORK... during the last 2 weeks of holidays. Wow. How exciting. Yeah right.

Some photos of Shanghai's night view (although i didn't have much time to explore, these were taken from the taxi...)

I'm back in Singapore with an earache. How irritating. First, here's a rough list of my loot:

2 Korean Drama DVDs (Full House [which i was cheated of! only had on episode!] and Thank You)
1 Japanese Drama DVD (Hanazakarino Kimitachihe)
3 Korean Movies (200 Pound Beauty, the SuJu movie, My Boyfriend is Type B)
2 English Movies (Les Miserables [technically a stage musical], Dracula)
1 Jolin Karaoke VCD
1 Shinhwa Concert VCD (Which came with a DBSK VCD)
1 SuJu Book
2 English books
1 Chinese novel
1 pair of heels
1 pair of sneakers
Lots of hair accessories plus more mundane stuff and gifts for others...

I have a QQ account which is the China equivalent of MSN... and all the friends I made in China these past few weeks are on there... photos will come soon when i get all of them from ming kee and audrey and whoever else took nice photos...

I want to go back to ShiJiaZhuang,
I like the architecture and culture in Suzhou and Shanghai but i think they are overrated,
the people are nicer up north...
