Work has been AWFUL. Not because of the workload, not because of the colleagues, not anything. Because I'm bored. Seriously, it's like everyone is busy doing stuff, but there i am, staring at my computer. JUST STARING, and trying not to fall asleep. I have taken to playing sudoku. SUDOKU. SUDOKU!!! But even that bores me. And today was killer. Because by 3pm, I was the only one in the office (from my department/service, excluding the supervisor). Only 2 producers were around today. And the rest were on leave. It's so quiet, i could slice the silence with my blunt penknife.

AND not to mention it's been like the North Pole in the office and especially the studios. The air-conditioning has been tweaked and it's FREEZING! Seriously, people are going to get sick with the temperature difference in and out. I already have asthma and this is going to make it worse.

I have stuff to do, of course, programmes and designing and so on... but i've either finished with the week's programmes or done the designs, and those are waiting to be vetted. So i end up with nothing. I even had time to stage a mini-'news broadcast' with the other chinese intern in the conty! I've been going in slightly later than usual and going home early, which makes me feel kind of bad. But the producers keep telling me to go home once i'm done with the day's current affairs synopsis, so like a good girl, i do as i'm told. I have one less programme next week, which means even more boredom... maybe i should start on my SIP report...

All i wanted was a peaceful internship.
But no, the department i work for will be closed in approximately 2 months.

Feeling like crap right now.
Don't want to go anywhere else because it would be pointless.
Wasting time getting used to another environment again.
I will flip if i get sent to the newsroom or tv and have to work shifts.
Heart-wrenching to see the veterans weep, although there will be re-deployment for them.
While work will still have to get done, the atmosphere at the office is depressing.
It feels like my last day at Mcd CA1... Gosh it's like deja vu...

Am going to sleep this annoyance off.
