I have quite a bit to say today... so just bear with me...

Went for CDS in the morning yesterday... could hardly even wake up... was just so lazy... but the lecture was pretty interesting cuz it was about Chinese radio/tv broadcasting... not the technical stuff, but the way that you should pronouce and enunciate words so that your speech will have added dimension... spent almost the whole morning practising those sounds... 'Za zhi' and not 'Zha Zhi'... the tongue plays a major role in getting that right... Couldn't speak properly after the lesson for awhile... oh, and we got HOMEWORK! in Chinese, mind you... it's not that i don't like Chinese, but the writing bit is kind of a chore sometimes...

Security at the airport is getting much more stricter... buses going in now get their bottoms checked with a mirror, in addition to the on board checks... so it now causes a jam and take longer to get inside... Work was pretty good with jack and margaret... but everyone was on their toes cuz richard and mark(i think that's his name) came down and so the managers were so funny cuz they were so kiasu... haha... Worked 1 hour OT and went home with jeffrey... margaret was on the same bus too... Went online for a bit then knocked out...

Uncle Bob and guma may treated me to lunch cuz they knew that mummy and daddy's away... went to some so called japanese restaurant in tampines... but the food was not up to standard... inaccurate service... measures should be taken to step up the service... the food i'm not to particular about, but the service is something i always take notice of...

Met up with jeffrey and we floated around TM and CS for a little awhile... went to have mocha milkshake and later, mango smoothie... Chatted (i.e. gossiped/bitched) for 3 hours before we split for home(me) and PS(jeff)... I actually love to talk... just that sometimes i can't find a similar topic that the other person and i can communicate on the same level...

i can't stand some people (ladies, in particular) who love to talk/write/read things that probably have a little more depth than what the average female might indulge in, but yet are ignorant about certain widely known issues... I'm somewhere in between i believe... I read anything that catches my attention, from biograhies to gossip rags(in Chinese, no less)... I listen to anything from bubblegum pop to the most obsure kind of music(just no techno, please)... I admit that i do not know things that people may consider general knowledge... and i tend to swing towards that pop/gossip rags... but those who consider themselves more classy/intellectual than others because they indulge in the most uncommon of activities are those that i really dislike...

One may have IQ, but lack EQ...
