got a B+ for film theory term paper. not sure how to gauge cuz apparently the lowest score i've heard of so far is a B. So is a B+ a good or bad thing? well, that's the least of my worries cuz miss ng hardly fails anyone unless it's late work or like plagiarism or something serious. the bigger headache is BMR which i'm supposed to study for but the thing is, i know the stuff in a mixed up way... like design validity, internal validity, external validity... urgh... disgusting stuff, i'd take physics or chemistry over this anytime... not that i really want to, but physics sure is easier than this shit... spent the whole week mulling over the concepts in the textbooks and ended up watching the Simple Life: Goes to Camp... Love it..
Behind the facade of Hollywood (read: bimbo-ness, sex tapes, money, glamour, drugs, alcoholism, drunk driving etc...), Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are pretty nice and smarter than i expected them to be, (they lose points in the area of housework and stuff) especially Nicole... she is/was a drug addict and has a messed up life but in reality she is one intelligent girl with lots of talents (go Google her profile)... get this, she was an undergraduate at the University of Arizona before messing up with drugs.. Funny bit: When Kathy Hilton came to visit, she counselled one of the guys in couples camp who was having committment jitters and quoted "why buy the milk when the cow is free..." erm... wasn't it supposed to be "why buy the cow when the milk is free"?
Anyway, got to go study BMR or i won't even need drugs to mess up my academic career...
