Was in KL for the weekend and did a little bit of shopping. Despite the warnings of robberies and crime targeted at foreigners, KL is pretty safe as long as you don’t go round parading your tourist status. One would really need a car to get around though; it’s too much of a hassle to get a taxi, much less the public bus. Didn’t take any photos because there was nothing much to take, but I must say that Sunway Pyramid looked very pretty with the big Sphinx thingy. Price-wise for the shoppers, most of the clothes and stuff is almost comparable to Singapore, but if you’re there for the food, then you’re in for a treat because food is cheaper there. Got some Malaysian and Taiwanese magazines that weren’t available in Singapore, shoes, make-up and a couple of T-shirts that were on sale. And that was my weekend in Kuala Lumpur in brief. *bows and curtsies¬¬*
**On the side, today’s commuting to and from work was interesting. To work: It was raining cats and dogs when I reached Tanjong Pagar, the escalators weren’t working and the whole exit was full of human traffic. Some lame people even took photos with their camera phones while trying to get out, which is stupid cuz can’t you see everyone is stuck?! I think I even saw a dlsr or something like that taking photos *rolls eyes*. And I got soaked because I didn’t bring an umbrella.
On the way back home: A guy fainted in the MRT. Really sudden. He was out for half a minute. Everyone was shocked stiff and just stared till some people who were near him helped him up and let him sit. I think no one dared to move him at first cuz they were scared he might have a fit, in which case it would be wise not to move the guy any old how.
